A light, delicious purple-cultivar green tea from Kenya. With one teaspoon of tea per cup, steeped with boiling water for two (2) minutes, Zambarau brews up refreshing with savory grape flavor overtones and a pleasant astrigency. Steeped with cooler water, more like a traditional green tea, you can expect a softer, less complex flavor with less bitterness.
This tea is lovely with a splash of fresh lemon juice, if you are so inclined. After adding lemon, the tea liquor will turn an even brighter, more striking salmon-purple color.
